Deaf Day at the Ark Encounter and the
Creation Museum!
Saturday, October 13, 2018 and Sunday,
October 14, 2018
Get ready for an eye-opening
experience at the Ark Encounter! You will be amazed at the massive life-size
Noah’s Ark, its exquisite craftsmanship, and the life-like exhibits. ASL
interpreters and Deaf volunteers will be available, as well as video captions.
Calvin Farley, who has presented at
the Creation Museum for the last three annual Deaf Days, will speak at the Ark
Encounter on the second floor of Emzara's Buffet this year. His topic will be
“The 7 C’s of History.” Don’t miss this informative ASL session!
Make it a weekend! Enjoy our Deaf-led
offerings and the company of many other Deaf guests, as well as the assistance
of Deaf volunteers and interpreters on Saturday, October 13th, at the Ark
Encounter and on Sunday, October 14th, at the Creation Museum.
For the Creation Museum Deaf Day, the
museum’s shows, presentations, and special programs will be ASL interpreted or
captioned! Volunteers will be available to assist with ticket sales, food
ordering, and providing directions.
If you would like to bring a group of
15 or more guests, please contact Reservations at (800) 721-2298
