RID 2019 National Conference

RID 2019 National Conference will be held July 7-11, 2019 in Providence, Rhode Island.

With talks like; Interpreting in International Sign; Tres Idiomas, Tres Clientes: Interactive Trilingual Interpreting Practices; Professional Guidelines for Interpreting in an Educational Setting; and Interpreting in Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Settings, you are bound to be busy each and every day. Maybe make a friend who is going to all the talks you aren’t, both record your respective talks, and share!

The keynote presenter this year is Evon Black – a nationally acclaimed performer, workshop leader, keynote and motivational speaker. Read more about her and the rest of the presenters under ‘Conference Presenters’ in the ‘Conference Program’ tab.

At the Celebration Banquet, the presenter will be none other than Nyle DiMarco – winner of Dancing with the Stars and America’s Next Top Model! We have posted about him before (and may have to again during the week of the conference), so check our archives for more about his story.

Pre-registration has closed, but don’t worry, they will have on-site registration. The daily rates are Sunday and Wednesday for $200.00, and Monday/Tuesday/Thursday for $100.00 (Tuesday ticket does not include banquet ticket, which can be purchased for $52.00) With questions, contact conference@rid.org .
