It’s Broadway Week, everybody! I got the email from The Kennedy Center and finally sorted through
all the shows and times to post and whatnot, so the next week+ are basically all Theater related! How
fun!!
The Kennedy Center Presents, “Hamilton”, at the Opera House in Washington, DC.
An American Musical is a sung-and-rapped through musical about the life of American Founding Father
Alexander Hamilton, with music, lyrics and book by Lin-Manuel Miranda, inspired by the 2004 biography
"Alexander Hamilton" by historian Ron Chernow.
As you may recall from a previous post, I recently saw “Hamilton” and was floored by how well done it
was! The music, the staging, the ensemble, every single actor, the costumes, the set, the entire show
blew me away. I was skeptical going into it because of all of the hype that has surrounded the show
form the very beginning, but it exceeded even the hype! I wholeheartedly recommend.
